A great pose which helps you to stretch the entire back line of the body, from the heels to the head. How to forward bend: *keep the upper back straight until you are able to bring the belly to the thighs * Engage the front side of both legs * Flex the feet and spread the toes * Engage the core when folding down to support your lower back * Find the length in your back and the neck * Slightly bend your knees if needed * "Think" forward instead of pulling you head down to your knees. You can also use a strap to create more length in your back * Breathe, relax and unwind . Important tip- don't use your hands or strap to pull your forward, just for support to hold you where you are. Keep activated in this pose!

While I practiced my handstands this morning, I thought to myself; "why not to share with you what I did to gain confidence to do a handstand away from the wall." These are two of my favorite partner handstand practices. Grab a partner and go ahead try it out! . Things to keep in mind: ⭐ Belly button toward your spine. Great exercise for that: lie down on the floor. Extend the arms in front of you (like you're doing a handstand) suck your belly in and up so it won't be touching the floor. Think about vacuuming your stomach. ⭐ Shoulders over wrists. (Warmup your shoulders before if you have tight shoulders) ⭐Hips over shoulders. ⭐Breathe freely! Don't ever hold your breath. . POSES🧘‍♀️ -Downward Facing Dog -Three Legged Dog Hip Opener -High Lunge -Goddess to Ninja (go through a flow switching sides for 3 counts) -Crescent Lunge -Pigeon -Bound Angle -Wide Child’s Pose . TIPS Do NOT be afraid to use blocks! Hips are one of the most common right areas- you need to treat them with care and build up gradually. Ways you can use blocks for this sequence: ✅Under your hands in Down Dog for length ✅Under your hands in High Lunge and Crescent Lunge for length ✅Under your hip in Pigeon for support ✅Under your knees in Bound Angle for support ✅Under you hands in Child’s Pose for support or to deepen the stretch .
