Really stoked to finally get the chance to get my hands on the new @sonyalpha 200-600mm. Super fun to shoot at a different focal length then I’m used to...thanks to @frietzphoto for helping me get these shots and letting me help break in his new lens. First shot was around 400mm and the second at 600mm. . . . . . #saltlakecity #utah #utahunique #werutah #slcmade #agameoftones #westbysouthwest #sonyalpha #bealpha #fatalframes #artofvisuals #heatercentral #utahisrad #sonyimages #theimaged #eclectic_shotz #lensbible #citykillerz #urbanandstreet #creativeoptic #moodygrams #moodnation #killeverygram #Igdaily #gramslayers #travelawesome #nightphotography

Watching the sun fade from Canyon Overlook in Zion Park. The light trails from cars painted the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway that winds through the canyon.

This is another one of those iconic/cliche shots from Zion. There were lots of people who did the short hike to the overlook to watch the sunset. But as the sky got dark, it was only the photographers that remained to capture the light trails from the cars leaving the park. There are a few different techniques to do this, but usually you have to use a pretty long exposure to capture them (30-60 seconds). You also have to be willing to hike out in the dark, so make sure to bring a good headlamp!
