Went from 189lbs to 195lbs over Christmas, that dessert stomach had me eating all the cookies, pie, etc.... 😂 already down to 192lbs tomorrow 189-190lbs. Sure, you have to have proper programming and proper nutrition to attain major goals, Sure, you have to adhere to it. But there are more parts to this whole equation that are not based on formulas, some that are equally important. Some that might not be able to be taught through someone, aspects that I believe may be self taught. I’m referring to Effort, Will, Mental Toughness, and discipline . 610lb deadlift!🔥🔥🔥 8 weeks ago I injured my lower back, it hurt so much that even putting on my shoes was hard. I tried deadlifting 135lbs later that week and it was too painful, I gradually went up for the next 8 weeks and now I'm back over 600lbs! 8 weeks ago I told myself that I hurt my back...... not my focus... just my back... not my discipline or my state of mind, and definitely not my will. Part of the reason of why it's so hard for some people to get results even when they workout hard for 4-5 days a week and hit appropriate kcal macros for their goals 4-5 days a week could very well be lack of sleep (in general) the lack of sleep during the weekend and certain habits that goes with it .... staying up till 2-3am could be hindering your progress. Decreased sleep duration can impact hormone levels, feelings of appetite and even body composition. That's right, even during weight loss phases, less sleep can increase the proportion of weight you lose from fat free mass. To a surprising degree as well. Can't lose weight while in a caloric deficit? Then you're not in a caloric deficit... It's not the bread It's not the soda It's not the glutenz It's not the pizza It's not eating after 8pm It's not metabolic damage It's not the sugars bruh It's the fact that you are not in a caloric deficit... Some of you might be thinking "but I used an online calculator and it says I'm at a 500kcal deficit" got news for ya... those serve a base line it's not 100% accurate not only that but most tend to ruin progress by over consuming calories over the weekend... the weekend still counts. They are not magical weekend calories that just vanish. Anyhow if you are not losing weight you are not at a caloric deficit.
