✅Les pompes
.
Pour travailler efficacement les biceps et les pectoraux, je te conseille de t'exercer aux pompes. Tu peux le réaliser de plusieurs façons selon ton niveau : sur les genoux, sur les pieds, en modifiant l’inclinaison, en changeant la position des mains (plus ou moins rapprochées l’une de l’autre), en changeant la vitesse, le nombre de répétitions… Jour après jour, tu réaliseras des progrès 😉

✅Les dips
.
Pour développer les triceps, prends appui sur une table basse, une chaise, les pieds plus ou moins en avant toujours selon ton niveau et descends les bras jusqu’à former un angle de 90° avec ton coude. Le nombre de répétitions dépendra une fois encore de ton niveau. Ça pique😅?? C’est normal, ça travail 💪

☑Les tractions (si barre)

Pour réaliser cet exercice, il va falloir te munir d’une barre à traction. Tu en trouveras chez @intersportfr au prix de 29.99€ . En plus de faire travailler tes bras, les tractions vont développer de manière efficace ton dos. Cette exercice est un peu difficile, donc ne t'étonne pas si au début tu n'arrive pas à en faire plus d'une. Avec le temps, tu progresseras 😉

            Stop doing your PT exercises while watching TV!

Yesterday, I had a light bulb moment with my patient which connected to my post last week on “not listening to podcasts while running”. I know that doing exercises while watching TV decreases the benefits. I would tell patients to focus on the exercises. Also all would tell me they were doing exercises while doing something else. Eventually, my patients broke me down. I started thinking, “It’s better to have them do exercises then none at all.” BUT is it really better then none at all??? Diverting the attention of the exercise to TV hinders the brain’s ability to make the connections to the muscles. The brain is now focusing on whatever show on TV. You brain can only focus on one thing at a time. So all that time spent doing exercises is in reality just  watching TV.

I been cueing my patients to “move with intent” resulting in faster outcomes. It properly builds the nerve pathways to the muscles.

Hoping you're having a great week after this fall break. We got out of town for a few days, so awesome! We had loads of fun and I stayed up late nights to grind out some work. That's just #momlife. I've been debating over the past 6 months on what direction I should take this coming year. I am a planner. It's a blessing and a curse. Just depending on how can you handle things in life. Tons of people think I'm so blessed because I'm successful professionally and with most everything I touch. Unfortunately, that comes with a price. Lack of sleep, juggling too many things that sometimes when I'm with my kids, I'm not completely present for them. I've been so fortunate that my hubby is so supportive with every crazy endeavor I seem to undertake. He sees us a team and we both know that it's a joint success. Without his support, I would've never accomplished all my little battles. I will share more of this and I am hoping to be more present in my kiddos' lives. Time is the most precious thing we have in life so I don't want to miss my kids growing up. My parents were both entrepreneurs. They worked their tails off so they inevitably missed my school plays and didn't have enough time for me. They did what they could, but sometimes it was rough. So I don't want my kids to go through that same cycle because as much as I appreciate all their hard work, I was often saddened when they weren't there for me when I needed them most.             It’s Monday, once again, and I am ready... perfect morning for a much needed run up to my mountain top.. 5 miles, 1700 feet of gain on very tired legs... calling this another leg day, as my legs were burning the whole climb up to the top 🔥🔥🔥... triceps/shoulders and core up next...
