Day 22 of 365 Had my first @nikerunning session today, Strength & Fartlek 6 sets of 3* Burpees 6* Jumping Lunges 9* Pushups 12* Boat Crunches 15 * Jumping Sit ups 18 * Mountain Climbers 21* Jumping Jacks ( I completed 4) 2 Sets of 20 secs - Something I forgot (am Human) 20 second - Alternate Oblique Crunches 20 second - Plank to Elbow Plank 20 second - Leg up Crunches For strength Training, . . Then We headed out for a 30 Min Run, I Ran with the slowest pace group 7'30" lead by the Coach, he kept our pace and form in check, just a great run overall, I absolutely loved the experience of working out and running with all these runners, it was such a surreal experience! I completed the Recovery run which was supposed to be of 3K as 4.5K and also Today I completed my first 100Kms with @Nike running so cheers to that. Checkout my story. Day 23 of 365 Did my 5K recovery run in Gym on a Treadmill today as it's hot outside. Today I changed the way I run! I don't 'heel strike' anymore, super proud. Earlier when I used to run my calves used to hurt after just a Km, now today even after 5Kms, there's no pain! Then I did a chest workout , Flat Bench press 10-15-20 lbs -15 Reps Incline Bench press 10-15 lbs in -15 Reps Flying Chest press 30-40-50 lbs -12 Reps. Day 64 of 365, Core Today's Workout Summary, 850 Rope Jumps 30 Pushups 30 Crunches & 45 Reverse Crunches I used to spend an hour at the Gym at Minimum Took alot of Rest Between sets and exercises, Did some research on the Topic and Learned about TUP (Time Under Pressure) ie, amount of Time in which a particular Muscle is Under pressure during each Set, which should be about 30-45 Seconds! Day 28 of 365. SWIPE to see the Run!! Today's Long run taught me alot, more than I knew about how I run, and how my body responds to running. If you swipe, you can see how my pace kept on decreasing, as my speed started to increase with every kilometer I completed, Stopped 4 times in total for hydration at 1.25 Km, 2.5Km, 5km and 6.25km marks. After about 4 Rounds I started to increase my cadence (steps per minute) and decrease my stride. (SWIPE and see) Towards the end Heart Rate shot upto 203bpm (not safe above 201 for me) Also the Mi Fit app was paused for about 2.5Kms by my mistake. Broke 2 PB's ran furthest and longest. 7.53Kms and 53 minutes respectively. Day 27 of 365 SWIPE to see the Run!! Finished the Benchmark run today INTERVAL 1 : As the run progressed in my Warmup, I was being reminded multiple times, to run very slow and easily, so you can see that I was going on slowing down for my 7 minute Warmup. INTERVAL 2 : I increased my speed Gradually and maxed out towards the end of 3 minutes, just as I was supposed to. INTERVAL 3 : The 5 minute cool down, Ran faster than the warmup a tad bit slower than the 3 min. Day 30 of 365 SWIPE to checkout the Run! Completed the Speed Run this Morning ie. 8x200m with 1:45 Seconds breaks . As I was finishing each Interval, I noticed I was able to Run about 120magain at my fastest pace, before I gased out and slowed down, maybe If I would've controlled the speed, I could've maintained it for the whole 200m. Also am gonna need a new pair of Running Shoes, as my old ones jave definitely Worn out! Day 24 of 365 Did 'Zero to 100' NTC workout today, Great for Stability, stamina and strength! Performed short of 5 seconds in Plank Saws and Split Jumps. Completed, what was supposed to be a 7x400m in a different way (incorrect mostly) Gave an complete all out effort, that's for sure The 400 mts got converted into 200x2's because the legs just stopped working at such high speed for my body, towards the end Heart Rate had shot upto 207bpm which is not safe at all!! Day 49 of 365 SWIPE to see the Run! Finished my 10.5K Long Run! Furthest I've ran so far, Did the Run in the Gym, the temperature outside ain't good for running. . So the Run Broke Down into 4 parts 1> 3K in 20 minutes (then the Treadmill went into cooldown) Next I decided to Run 2K only, as I saw a function of 5K Run on the Treadmill, so after 2 minutes of Break 2> 2K in 13 Minutes ( after this, a 3 minute Break) 3> 5K in under 32 minutes, after which I remembered, I have half a kilometer more to go, So I Ran that too 4 0.5K in 3 minutes. . Which is 10.5K in 68 Minutes. I've also Put data from my Mi band and Samsung Health App, Just to provide you an Idea of the Run. . Complaint on the Adidas Ultraboost 3.0, The Arch on my right leg starts hurting after about 5 - 6 Kms, and it continues till the end. Day 58 of 365 SWIPE to see the Pace!! Finished 11.5K Long Run, (11/05/2019) Oh man, it was a Long Run! There was a Problem with Location settings on my phone, so the Gps tracking isn't accurate. I tripped down at around 2Km mark on the Pavement πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ, got up and continued with my run, didn't scrape my knees much. Broke every PB I held! 5K, 10K, Furthest Distance, you name it! Day 34 of 365 SWIPE to se the Pace! Just Finished with 3K Tempo Run, Should've Ran before Sunrise, as the temperature gets as high as 30Β°C in like half hour after sunrise. Shouldn't have ran on Empty stomach, I literally felt powerless around 1.75 Kms into the run. Shouldn't have Sprinted so fast in the Start, as I had to Run 3K at that Pace, and I just wasn't ready. Day 38 of 365, SWIPE to see the doggo I met on the run! It was a 3 x 1000m speed Run, Ran 1st Km in 4'49", I pressed pause by mistake in the first time, between 1st and 2nd interval, there was no pause! Than I ran next half Km very fast, till I reached my Halfway Point. Problems started after that, I ran like Just 200m ane my legs stopped running, The pace was really fast for me, after that I ran another 250m and then this Doggo just jumped on me outta nowhere, I petted him for like 2-3 mins and that kinda charged me up a bit. I realized that I was stopping when my legs started to hurt and that I wasn't running through the pain, so I ran for the last half Km continuously. I know I didn't ran as I was supposed to, but I already had a long and kinda active day, bu the end of the day, I finished about 15000 steps.
