🗣 Jack Grealish on his goal at Old Trafford: “That was my favourite goal ever. I've always wanted to play at Old Trafford. I've played there before in a reserve cup final but it's not the same when it's like that. That's my favourite ground in the Premier League.” [Sky Sports] 🏟

LOAN WATCH | Dean Henderson kept a clean sheet for Sheffield United and helped his side win 1-0 against Arsenal 👏 He has kept 25 league clean sheets since the start of last season, which is more than any other goalkeeper in England’s top four tiers. [Opta] 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🔴

🗣 Former Manchester United player Zoran Tošić: “I thought I could play for United but there was a reason I was not at their level. These players lived the football life at the top. Giggs was 36, Scholes 34. They trained at 200 per cent. They lived football 24 hours. It was a big surprise to me to see them do this, a big lesson. They were on bikes before training and in the gym after." [The Athletic] ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The Serbian now plays for Partizan Belgrade, and he could play against us tomorrow 🇷🇸

Andreas Pereira impressed many fans with his performance against Liverpool. Is he better playing on the right or through the middle? 🤔

Brandon Williams vs. Partizan Belgrade: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✅ 83.7% pass accuracy ✅ 5 clearances ✅ 2 interceptions ✅ 1 blocked shot ✅ 2 tackles ✅ 1 penalty won

🗣 Phil Jones: “We want to get the group tied up as quickly as possible, but there are no easy games in Europe and we’ll treat it like we’ve done tonight and approach it in the right way.” 🔴

Do you think Solskjær should continue with playing three at the back, or should he switch back to playing two centre-backs? 🤔👇

🗣 Solskjær: “Now Anthony is back, I am quite happy with the options I have in attack. I’ve heard what some people have said about us being short of a genuine No.9, but Anthony has absolutely everything in his locker to take that role. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “He can be a target man, he’s quick, he’s technical – and one of the reasons he wanted to stay here was because I told him I saw him as a central striker. I don’t think people outside the club realise how good this lad is.” [Mirror]

Two landmark goals scored in that half of football 👇 ✅ Scott McTominay scored Manchester United’s 2000th ever Premier League goal ✅ Marcus Rashford scored his 50th goal for Manchester United Good job to both of them! 👏

FT: Norwich City 1-3 Manchester United Solid performance from the lads today, and most importantly, the three points. The win takes us from 15th to 7th in the league table. Several good performances today, but my MOTM is Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Who was yours? 🤔

That man Tony Martial scores and makes it 3-0! Beautiful link-up play between him and Rashford 🔥⚽️

Andreas put in a shift today from a more central position. Rate his performance 1-10 👇🤔

Paul Pogba won’t be back until December, says Ole Gunnar Solskjær 😕 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🗣 “I don't think we'll see Paul [Pogba] before December. He'll be out for a while. He needs time to fully recover. I don't think he'll be back, maybe for Sheffield United after the international break, but probably it will be December before we can see him.”

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has made 10 or more tackles in a Premier League game twice this season (vs. Norwich City and Southampton). Prior to this, no Man United player had done so since May 2012 (Patrice Evra vs. Swansea City). [Opta] 💪🔴

Absolutely love this picture from yesterday’s match. You can tell Marcus is like a role model to the academy lads, as he was once in their exact same position! ⭐️🔴

On this day 7 years ago, Robin van Persie signed for Manchester United! What was your favourite RVP moment? 🤔👇

🗣 Diego Forlán on the infamous clash between David Beckham and Sir Alex Ferguson: “It was a tremendous rift. It was after a match against Arsenal in the FA Cup and Ferguson was not happy because Robert Pires had made a break down the left, Gary Neville was caught too far forward, and Beckham did not cover. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “In the locker room, Ferguson and Beckham began to insult each other. Every insult was worse than the last one and both men wanted to have the final word. Then Ferguson left and it seemed that the discussion was over, but then Beckham said something else. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Ferguson turned around and saw a boot lying on the floor and kicked it toward Beckham. A stud hit him in the eyebrow and he was cut. We all saw the blood and thought 'no, that didn't happen' but within a moment both men were getting ready to fight. That was when Roy Keane and Van Nistelrooy stepped in to separate them.” [Mirror]

Fabrizio Romano reports that Inter are in talks with Manchester United for Alexis Sánchez. The deal for the Chilean could be a loan for 2019/20 season with the option to buy for €15m. Part of the wages would be paid by United as well. Alexis has asked to join Inter—now the decision is in the hands of United 🔁🇨🇱 • What are your thoughts? 👇 📸| @transfers

50th Manchester United goal for Anthony Martial! 👏

HT: Wolves 0-1 Manchester United Thoughts on the half? 👇

FT: Wolves 1-1 Manchester United As usual, another trip to Molineux ends in disappointment. It was looking good at the start, as we had a lot of the ball. Anthony Martial scored an absolute beauty, and it was only matched by a stunning strike from Neves. Having the ball is great, but today we failed to create a substantial amount of chances. People may choose to point the blame to Pogba for missing the penalty, but I think that would just be avoiding the bigger issue. Massive credit to Wolves as well, they definitely deserved at least a point. What are your thoughts on the match? 👇

Victor Lindelöf’s game by numbers vs. Wolves: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✅ 93% pass accuracy ✅ 8 ball recoveries ✅ 3/3 tackles won ✅ 2 clearances ✅ 0 fouls ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Stats via @statmandave

🗣 Paul Ince: “In my time at Man United, if there was a penalty, Eric Cantona was taking it and that was that. There was no room for debate, no arguing between players, no drama – Cantona takes it, full stop. It didn’t matter if he’d missed the previous one or whatever, he was the man that would be taking the penalty.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “He (Solskjær) should be making it perfectly clear before they go on the pitch. He should be saying: ‘If there’s a penalty, Rashford you’re taking it. If you’re not on the pitch – it’s Pogba, and so on.’ There’s a list of order there, it makes it transparent, and there’s none of this bickering about who scored when and who missed, it leaves no room for debate. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “That’s where it comes down to Ole. He should be making it crystal clear that there is one penalty-taker, and that’s it. He needs to show his leadership – and tell the players that it’s the end of the theatricals, there’s one person only for the job.” [Paddy Power]

Eric Djemba-Djemba recently spoke about his good friend Cristiano Ronaldo‘s time at Manchester United 🗣 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Sometimes Ferguson would tell Ronaldo ‘no’, but I never saw Fergie angry or unhappy at Cristiano. For Ferguson to be unhappy was very hard for him; he was like a dad with his kids! He could be unhappy if we were drawing a game or not playing well. He was like everyone, you can be unhappy because you’re not playing well. He never had a go at me; he was like my dad! He was a dad for Cristiano, John O’Shea, Fletcher, Bellion, even Rio Ferdinand! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “People can watch Ronaldo on the television, but they don’t know the real Cristiano. Cristiano is a man, who had a difficult time as a kid in football. People see him on the television and think he is arrogant or takes the piss out of people, but Cristiano is an emotional man. You need to talk to him to see who he really is. My mum passed away and he said Eric if you need me, you can call me, you can visit me, don’t worry I am here for you. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Every day when we were together at United, we drove to training together. Sometimes we would drive in my car; sometimes we would drive in his car. After training we went to eat at Nandos in Manchester; he helped me discover Nandos! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “When we went to away games, we were roommates. He was my best friend. We were together every single day for training; sometimes I would go to his house to eat as his mother was there with him when Cristiano was young. Sometimes he would come to my house to eat, as I was living alone in Rio Ferdinand’s old house!“ [American Gambler]

Crystal Palace have never beaten Manchester United in the 20 Premier League meetings that have occurred between the two clubs (D4 L16); this is the most amount of times a team has faced another without ever winning in the competition. [Opta] ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Can we get the three points tomorrow? 🤔

Very sad to see United beat today, especially considering how easily we could have won that game...

Is it time to add some Brazilian flair to the Starting XI? I think Fred at least deserves a consistent run of games this season to prove himself, as it seems people are forgetting what he could potentially offer to the team at his best. I’d love to see him played in a midfield three with Pogba and McTominay 🇧🇷
