Casemiro: “I’m aggressive in how I go for the ball. I don’t care if its the second or 90th minute, I always go for the ball like I’m going for a plate of food. I always go for a ball as if it were my last.” -Our Tank. 💯

AS: RFEF Competition Committee to decide whether to accept La Liga’s request to switch the Clasico’s venue to Bernabeu instead of Camp Nou. After taking submissions from both clubs, the decision could made on Monday or Tuesday. However sources at the Bernabeu consulted by AS say that moving the game could adversely affect the League. Madrid are open to change the date but not the venue.

🚨 MARCA: Casemiro yellow card against Villarreal has been cancelled and has his yellow card warnings down to 3 from 4. So it won’t affect Madrid if he gets a yellow against Mallorca now. He could still be playing Clasico.

These two pictures were taken from two different games played last night. The above photo shows a cross of Benzema hitting Real Betis defender’s hand. As you can see, the ball is clearly touching his hand, even though VAR checked it, the penalty wasn’t rewarded. On the other hand, the picture below shows a shot of the game played between Barca and Levante. This is the buildup to Barca’s first goal. As you can see, Griezmann is clearly offside, but the referee didn’t stop the play and match went onto happen. Moments later in the buildup, Barca were rewarded a penalty even after VAR checked the situation. I thought bringing in VAR could settle up problems like these but this VAR isn’t helpful at all. Football federations need to rethink about it.

MARCA: Gareth Bale worked with the ball on one of the pitches at the Valdebebas while James did continuous running exercises. Neither trained with the squad and are likely to miss the game against Galatasaray.
