Can you say curls for the girls!!! @designessentials @designessentialsnatural Here’s a way to jazz up a traditional #rodset using #designessentials Almond Avocado line. The Almond Avocado shampoo & Conditioner worked great to moisturize and detangle the hair. I followed that up with the Detangling Leave in conditioner and Curl enhancing mousse for these BOMB CURLS. I used the Twist and Set lotion for the Bantu knots and braid to add more flavor to the style. This style is perfect for the holidays! #decontest #designessentials #DesignEssentialsNatural #iwork4jcp #jcpenney #houstonhairstylist #naturalhairstyles #salonbyinstylepearland #naturalhairhouston #beautifulhair #htx #Houston #houstonhair #healthyhair #curls #salonbyinstyle #store2883

Here’s a post to help better understand split ends and why it’s important to have your ends cut/trimmed/dusted/maintained regularly. Once hair splits it doesn’t quit. Splitting leads to breakage. Breakage is what causes hair not to retain length. Remember, hair grows from the scalp, NOT the ends. If your hair is growing at the same rate that it’s breaking, you won’t ever truly see its growth. I recommend having your ends trimmed at least 3 times a year.

Don’t be like Tricenica! Take that hair hat off, and let your head rest. Protective styles and wigs are great to give your hair a break, but don’t let your scalp and wig become ONE. Your scalp is part of your skin and needs to breath in order to grow healthy hair. Thanks for the tips Ms. Shirleen!
